20 Mar 2024

Eurobike 2024: Professional program developed with national and international umbrella organizations reflects key topics of the cycling world – Varied festival program for all cycling fans – Ticket shop open to professional and festival audiences

Frankfurt am Main – As the cycling season picks up momentum at the beginning of spring, Eurobike presents a comprehensive and varied program for the world's leading trade fair from July 3 to 7, 2024 at Messe Frankfurt. On three days reserved for a professional audience and the subsequent festival weekend, top-class conferences and networking events, lectures and workshops, a broad test and show program as well as thrilling bike races provide a unique platform for global exchange and new experiences.

On the first three days of the fair (July 3 to 5), the leading trade fair for the bike and ecomobility universe Eurobike welcomes visiting professionals from all over the world. In close cooperation with the umbrella organizations of the European and German bicycle industry (CIE – Cycling Industries Europe, CONEBI – Confederation of the European Bicycle Industry, ZIV – the German Bicycle Industry association, Zukunft Fahrrad and VSF – the German service and bicycle association), a program was curated which integrates the needs of the entire bicycle and ecomobility ecosystem.

With the future in mind, discussions center on the possible dimensions of transformation as well as on focused action to initiate the necessary changes. The goal is clear: to gain influence at all political and social levels and to generate communicative reach for bicycles, e-bikes and light electric vehicles.

All conference formats combine the triple goal of knowledge transfer, exchange and networking. The conferences follow the six theme tracks of the world's leading trade fair: Innovation, Digitalization, Sustainability, Inspiration, Retail and People. Complimentary trade fair tours bridge the gap between theory and practice, offering comprehensive information and exciting new contacts for visiting professionals.

Knowledge transfer, exchange, networking: The Eurobike conferences

On July 2, the day before the start of the trade fair, Eurobike already invites managers from the top tier of the cycling and ecomobility world to Leaders' Night. Under the motto “Hello Future. Hello Transformation.” this newly developed evening format offers forward-thinking keynotes as well as networking at the highest level, while acting as a framework for the following days of the conference.

The official kick-off for the professional audience will be at the Industry & Start-Up Day on July 3. The highlight of the day will be the Eurobike Awards honoring winners in a total of eleven categories.

“How do we get more people cycling?” This simple question of how feasible cycling should be unites all target groups of the cycling world and will be the focus of the Mobility Convention on Eurobike Thursday. While the industry takes stock of current challenges in a transparent discussion in the morning, the afternoon focuses on joint solutions that should be both visionary and feasible. The professional program will be accompanied on Thursday by the Ecomobility Talk on the future technology of light electric vehicles and the Cargo Bike Academy. In the evening, the industry will meet at the Pink Thursday event for networking & talks. Pink Thursday takes place at the center for cycling culture Massif Central in the heart of Frankfurt.

On Friday, the Business Days will culminate in network meetings concerning the cooperation of the tourism industry with the cycling industry. Interested parties meet at the Bike Travel Forum, the Women In Cycling Breakfast or at a focus event on Service & Sale for online and offline business. The German Association for the Digital Economy (BVDW) as a newly gained partner hosts the Mobility goes Digital Commerce platform. This event addresses marketing experts in the cycling world who want to find out about further developments in e-commerce with a focus on direct-to-consumer business. At the end of the symposium, the traditional Eurobike party will take place on several stages within the trade fair grounds.

Cycling for all: The Eurobike Festival Days

The Eurobike weekend on July 6 and 7 will be a major cycling festival for all target groups who love cycling and being active. They can look forward to a day filled with a variety of cycling trends, action, shows, bike races and hands-on activities for children and families on the Eurobike premises.

The hub of the festival site is the huge demo area outside, where over 1,200 bikes and vehicles from 180 exhibitors are available for test drives on the large test track.

Easier and clearer: The ticket shop is online

With the publication of the entire trade fair program, advance sales of tickets have started for both visiting professionals and festival audiences. For the first time, the classic B2B day ticket (from EUR 69) includes participation in all conferences held on the trade fair grounds during the days reserved for visiting professionals. Separate tickets are available for special events such as the networking events “Leaders Night” and “Pink Thursday” as well as “Trading Succession” and “Investors Lounge”. As an alternative, access to all events is possible with the Eurobike Card.

For the festival weekend, single-day tickets (from EUR 16) and 2-day tickets (from EUR 24) are available. Both offer the option to include a ticket for local public transport within the operating area of the Rhine/Main Regional Transport Association (RMV).
