The market for cargo bikes is growing at pace. This is what the European Cargo Bike Industry survey shows, the results of which will be presented in the panel discussion. The European Green Deal as well as national and municipal funding programmes (e.g. buyers’ premiums) are creating conditions for further growth. At the same time, the cargo bike boom raises issues of regulation, infrastructure and social access.
