The example of the Baltic Sea Cycle Route (EuroVelo 10) shows how coordinated cross-border cooperation can lead to a more effective marketing of the regions and can increase the sustainability of tourism in a whole region. Recent comprehensive empirical data for Denmark, Germany and Poland show the status quo and provide the basis for the Vision 2030 as well as insights for the further strategic orientation of the Baltic Sea Cycle Route. We would like to work together with more cycle tour operators and additional offers along the Baltic Sey Cycle Path to strengthen the cycle product EuroVelo10.
