Day 1 Mevagissey
Rendezvous in St Austell and transfer to Mevagissey before meeting for a spectacular welcome dinner.

Day 2 Mevagissey
We take our first steps along the South West Coastal Path, the longest coastal trail in Britain with its striking scenery and unique geology, along a well-trodden cliff-top track to Chapel Point and on to Dodman Point, separating the Bays of Veryan and Mevagissey. We head inland for a pub lunch and circle back to Mevagissey to relax, and perhaps swim, before dinner.

Day 3 St. Mawes
From the Hamlet of Penare we rejoin the coastal footpath to Caerhays Castle and on to the quaint fishing village of Portloe. After lunch overlooking the harbour, we discover the delightful village of Veryan before indulging in a traditional Cornish Cream Tea. We head off to picturesque St. Mawes for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 St. Mawes
Take a small ferry to the St. Anthony Head and walk to the lighthouse; we talk to farmers at Bohortha and lunch in a pub in the harbor village of Portscatho. We continue along the Percuil River and return to the harborside village of St. Mawes for dinner.

Days 5 Mawnan Smith
Stroll through St. Mawes before boarding the ferry for Falmouth, where we join a coastal trail for our walk to Mawnan Smith and a pub lunch. A hike along the sparkling Helford River takes us to the world-famous Trebah Gardens. On to dinner on the outskirts of the attractive village of Mawnan Smith.

Day 6 Mawnan Smith
We cross the river by ferry to the tiny village of Helford then walk the coastal path to the mouth of the estuary at Dennis Head. We see the church of St. Anthony-in-Meneage, standing at the water's edge, and follow the creek to the exquisite village of Manaccan for lunch in a thatched pub. On then to Daphne du Maurier's 'Frenchman's Creek' and home by ferry to Mawnan Smith for our farewell dinner.

Day 7
Before heading home, you could opt to visit St. Ives, an exceptionally beautiful seaside resort and renowned artists' colony, and visit the Tate Gallery's exhibition of modern and contemporary art of the internationally famous Barbara Hepworth Museum, which houses the work of one of the 20th century's greatest sculptors.
