Day 1 Vienna
Arrive early in Vienna for a day of sightseeing and possibly an afternoon concert in the elegant city. Tonight we meet for a festive welcome dinner.

Day 2 Freistadt
Transfer to Freistadt, then cross into the Czech Republic and cycle to colorful Bohemian villages like Vyssi Brod and Rozmberk.

Visit historic WWII sites and exquisite churches as we make our way to Enns, the oldest town in Austria. Climb the 157 steps of the watchtower for a superb panoramic view.

Days 4 Maria Taferl
Follow the bike path to fairytale castles and charmed places. Our home tonight is Maria Taferl, a hilltop town with a famous basilica. Revel in the panoramic views of the valley during tonight’s banquet.

Day 5 Dürnstein/Mautern
The scent of grapes draws accompanies us along our route. Stop to taste the wines in Spitz or Krems, and enjoy the lovely old villages along the way.

We ride through the woodlands, visiting the elaborate Stift Gottweig abbey.

Day 7 Tata
We’ll mount our bikes in Tata, and follow a quiet route through pristine forests and glorious fields of sunflowers. Tonight opt to be serenaded by live gypsy music. (Mileage options: 4 / 18 / 30)

Days 8 Esztergom
Today we’ll venture into Esztergom, Hungary, boasting a majestic cathedral and baroque palace, with fanciful crooked streets and pastel-colored houses.

Days 9 Budapest
Spin along the river, then ferry over to scenic Szentendre Island. Visit the renowned artists’ colony before transferring to our luxury hotel in the center of Budapest. (Mileage options: 31 / 36 / 40)
