Day 1 Pamplona
Join us in historic Pamplona, in the Navarra region of Spain, where we'll savor a mouth-watering welcome feast at our favorite restaurant, crowded with locals.

Days 2-3 Olite
Leaving Pamplona along the Camino de Santiago, we'll visit historic pilgrimage towns like Puente la Reina, Eunate, and Tafalla, on our way to Olite, wine capitol of the Navarra. We'll luxuriate here for two nights at a prestigious parador built beside the royal palace. Next day, enjoy an exciting bicycle ride through a nature preserve, en route to the lovely hill town of Ujue. This evening we'll taste the prestigious D.O. Navarra wines at the Ochoa winery, and dine on savory traditional dishes. (bicycle tour mileage options: 28 / 38; Next Day: 31 / 37).
Days 4 Calahorra
After a short transfer to the Rioja region, we'll bicycle along the cliffs overlooking the breathtaking Cidacos valley. Passing olive groves and almond trees, wind through meadows and fields dotted with sheep as we bike on a paved railroad bed all the way to the ancient town of Calahorra. Along the way see dinosaur footprints, and visit the health spa at Arnedillo. (bike tour mileage: 31).
Day 5 Haro
Today's bicycle ride starts in Fuenmayor, and follows scenic landscapes through famous wine towns to the very heart of the Rioja. Stop in picturesque Laguardia to visit a bodega and stroll on the Paseo del Collado beside the medieval town walls. In Haro, the market town for Rioja Alta wines, explore the lively horseshoe shaped old quarter and the neoclassical town hall. You'll find many possibilities for dinner tonight. Day 6 Haro
Opt for a bicycle ride in the countryside or spend the day visiting Haro's wine museum, opulent mansions, and churches. Our cycling route stops at the historic pilgrimage town of Santo Domingo de la Calzada, and delightful Ezcaray, on the banks of the Rio Oja river. Tonight, we'll gather for a colorful farewell fiesta and banquet. (bicycle tour mileage options: 23 / 32 / 40)
Day 7
Transfer to the train station in Miranda de Ebro, or the airport in Vitoria for departure.
