Day 1 Florence (Optional walk)
Rich in art, history, science, and shopping, Florence is truly a Tuscan jewel. You’ll want to explore this famous city before our guided walk in the late afternoon. Tonight, we’ll gather for a memorable Florentine welcome feast.

Day 2 Siena
Bicycle in the vineyard-clad hills of Chianti Classico starting in Castellina, and continue to the famous wine villages of Radda and Gaiole. Savor a picnic beside an olive grove. Maybe stop for a wine tasting and a tour. The route is filled with temptations before it leads to the golden hued, sentimental city of Siena.

Day 3 Siena
Today's bike ride explores the graceful Tuscan landscape, famous for it sprawling green and sepia-toned farms. Visit the walled town of Asciano, and the famous abbey at Monte Oliveto Maggiore. Returning to Siena, delicate cypress trees frame dramatic views of the chalky cliffs of the Crete hills.

Day 4 Siena (Optional walk)
Spend a relaxing day in Siena with a local historian who leads us on a spirited tour of this grand city; or travel back in time on an easy spin to the quiet, medieval villages of Belcaro and Sovicille. (cycling tour milage options: 17 / 23 )

Days 5 San Gimignano (Optional walk)
Wooded hills form the backdrop for a picturesque and exhilarating day. Opt to bicycle to Monteriggioni, surrounded by 14 medieval towers, and visit Colle di Val d’Elsa, with its charming upper and lower towns. Or follow a shorter walking route with our local guide. The countryside is spectacular! Nearing day’s end, we’ll all meet in San Gimignano, the “Manhattan of Italy,” and dine on expertly prepared local specialties, with panoramic views from our hilltop hotel.

Day 6 Artimino
Our destination today is Artimino, home to the famous Medici Villa of the Hundred Chimneys. Passing through orchards and vineyards, we'll visit traditional towns like Certaldo and Montespertoli before crossing the Arno into Artimino. Our home this night is a 16th C villa located beside the famous Medici Villa. A gourmet farewell dinner awaits... oh what a night this will be! (bicycle tour mileage options: 31 / 36)

Day 7
Say arrivederci to la dolce vita, and shuttle to Florence for departure.
